The College of Health Sciences is designed to impart edge cutting knowledge of the highest standard that will prepare our graduates to compete globally. Students will be exposed to high-quality education and innovative research that will benefit the individual and the cultural, social and economic development of Nigeria. We have qualified academic staff and conducive infrastructure (i.e. equipped laboratories, classrooms and hospital for training of students) which will be used to train our students to work effectively and provide comprehensive health care to individuals in any community in Nigeria.

Our current MBBS program is registered and approved by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and Nigerian Universities Commission and recipient to practice the profession of Medicine in Nigeria. Our MBBS curriculum is according to the guidelines on Minimum Standards of Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and NUC. However, our MBBS program uses an integrated system based learning and community-oriented way of instruction which will make our students clinically oriented from when they start the program.

Our students will be trained and equipped to compete with other students globally, as well as satisfy internationally recognized standards who are qualified to get further specialization.

Future plans for the College of Health Sciences include courses in Anatomy, Pharmacology, Public Health, as well as Master and Ph.D. programs in other health science courses.
