MESSAGE FROM DEAN
Thank you for visiting the website of the College of Health Sciences at Nile University of Nigeria, I welcome you on behalf of all of us at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. Our vision is to excel in all areas of the academic activities, including and not limited to academic, skill acquisition and research with our trainees.
It is, therefore, my privilege as the Founding Dean of the College to lead its development into a reputable medical education provider and the first choice for distinguished students, academia and researchers in the medical field.
Our training program offers a curriculum that is the best fit for our home country need as well as international best practices. We apply training techniques that enable the students to develop problem-solving skills, learn how to get information independently and improve abilities to assess new information critically. We also pay particular attention to the personal development of students by interacting with individual student and helping them solve specific personal challenges concerning academics as well as social issues such as accommodation, privacy and security.
At Nile University of Nigeria, our trainees are also given tutelage on the professional expectation as well as ethics and ethical consideration that would be expected of them at graduation from the noble profession of Medicine.
